Yuck: Chew

Yuck are bringing the 90s back, and we all know that. Their self-titled debut album was released last year and it was a pleasant surprise for me, for reminding me of 90′s alternative bands I really dig — such as Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Teenage Fanclub and Pixies.

Today, they have released a new song, titled ‘Chew’, and you can hear it below, via SoundCloud.

On Chew, the almost inaudible vocals and distorted guitar drone create a shoegaze-sound that makes it easy to identify their musical inspirations and influences.
