Introducing: Sleigh Bells

I remember when I first found Sleigh Bells. I saw the video for Infinity Guitars on YouTube and I was actually amazed at how different it was. They are a Brooklyn noise-pop duo making a loud and noisy sound with electric guitars, drums and beats. In 2009 they released a self-titled EP and, one year later, they released an album – Treats. I’ve been listening to Treats non-stop since it came out and I wish I could find the words to say how fantastic it is. The guitar riffs in tracks such as ‘Riot Rhythm‘, ‘Infinity Guitars‘ and ‘Crown on the Ground‘ are stunning, and the almost softness in ‘Rill, Rill‘ gets me every time. If you haven’t listened to Sleigh Bells yet, you should definitely check them out. They are to release a new album in early 2012, which I’m looking forward to.
